USF had an awful weekend with the number of upsets that occurred.

My projections, no USF. Perahps they will be the Cal of the womens side, not sure who the USM would be, Pacific? FGCU?

At any rate, I hope I am wrong, we'll see.

The problem with some of the teams you have ahead of us, like Toledo, Pacific, and SDSU, they have lower SOS than USF and Texas Tech. How much will the committee weigh that in their decision?

I remain confident that we are in.

Interestingly, the WNIT website lists Pacific as the automatic bid (best team in each conference to not make the Big Dance) from the BigWest, but no mention of SDSU, Toledo, FGCU.  They only list 19 of the 31 automatic bids, and so it doesn't look like they're too high on Pacific's chances at the big dance, nor Boston U's chances for that matter either.  Conferences not listed: BE, B12, B10, ACC, SEC, Pac12, MWC, MAC, AtlSun, A10, MVC, WCC.

NIT and WNIT have a new rule that states if you win your conference's regular season title but not the tournament championship you automatically get selected to the (W)NIT if the NCAA doesn't select you as an at large.

Wow.  Going to play Texas Tech in Lubbock.

 

That's the worst part of the women's tournament, home court advantage instead of neutral sites.
