I feel the starting line up will be like this, not sure of exact positions or batting line up but based off what I have seen and heard of these players this is what I am thinking: Catcher: Lee Ann Spivey (freshman) 1st: Stephanie Medina (junior) 2nd: Kenshira Jackson (senior) SS: Kourtney Salvarola (junior) 3rd: Nicolette Levine (sophomore transfer from FSU) We have many players who can play outfield so this is one of the toughest spots for me to decide: it will probably be a rotation for the first few weeks between Goff, Goff, Devine, Nunn and Juergens. As for pitching the rotation will be: Nevins (ace), Richardson, Greiner, and Nunn.

I thought the Goffs graduated. Good to hear they're back.

Salvarola's good, her play will be key, hope Levine's got a helluva arm to get the grounders out at first.

Sure that rotation won't be Nevins, Richardson, Nevins, Greiner, Nevins, Nunn?? LOL

I know she was on the ESPN all amer team which is 30 players but they listed her under "Multi Purpose" which is hitting ,pitching & fielding.  I don't know if that is a good thing or not(the multi purpose vs a single position not the being an All American).  Pretty impressive get no matter what.  i hope Nunn does well- plus she has strong acedemics.

I have a feeling that the rotation during a weekend series will be Nevins, Richardson, Nevins/Richarson (who ever is feeling better at the time. Greiner, Nunn. Nunn is multipurpose because she also played outfield when she was not pitching. She has a great arm and can throw runners out from the OF. So for her to finish all American as a multi purpose is huge because that means you were on top of your game with out having one solid position. As for academics our entire team is full of brainiacs. The whole team typically have a high gpa 3.5+

Also the Goffs are Juniors this year. We still have them for one more year after this season

Losing Mouse at 3B is probably the toughest spot to fill.  Erickson loved her leadership.

Feed the Mouse was the rallying mantra last season. She played some great defense for the lady bulls.

Yep losing Mouse was a big one but she did come back as an assistant to the team, which is nice. Her replacement seems to have quite a bat on her though. Haven't seen any videos in regards to the defense. We shall see how it works out

Really looking forward to this year.

If they televise 'em all, might be enough to tip the scales for me to buy a Bullsvision package, suckass as the system is...

The Catcher position will be upgraded as well. I have seen Spivey play and she has a hell of a bat

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
