We have been poopoo in football for the past two years. We have been poopoo in baseball for years now. Our only good sport is soccer and lol if you think anyone gives a ****. Yes, with upgraded facilities and the like our future looks(maybe looked?) bright, but we need more time. The timing of all of this is what hurts the most. Just when we start to our climb again they pull the rug from under us. Shame. +1 We are moving in the right direction, that's all that really matters. Actually that's not all that really matters - what also matters is whether or not we will still be able to move in the right direction in the coming months and years due to forces outside our control ... We will. We will play in a conference, and we will continue to succeed. We will not end up back in C-USA or some lower level conference, just relax. The league and MSG needed the Red Storm to be consistently good. But there were so many lean years that really hurt the interest in NYC. • The additions of Conference USA members Louisville, Marquette and Cincinnati were brilliant. DePaul and South Florida were not. • Notre Dame was a good fit in men's basketball. Mike Brey has always credited the Big East for reviving the Fighting Irish hoops program. http://espn.go.com/m...lege-basketball This article is not relevant because the writer is only focused on basketball... football > basketball
