Ironically, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a boost in season ticket sales for next year after this firing.

I know I will be buying for next year. Merry Christmas Bulls Fans!

I've always had student tickets (until next year) so I'm not familiar with the season ticket process here. Regarding the athletics department's decision to sell only season tickets- I assume that's not a widespread practice in the NCAA. Overall, I thought it was a terrible idea that secured thousands of empty seats for 5/6 home games.

Our crappy play secured thousands of empty seats also...so it wasn't a huge deal.

i was possibly not going to renew...but i will now. no matter who they hire...i'll support the new regime. (For that matter, i supported Skip....went to every game...even last night's debacle...but a change had to be made.)

The move had to be made. I spoke to all the people around me who also have season tickets, and they had all given up on holtz also.

Handing over all individual ticket sales to TicketMaster was a stupid idea. When USF was up and coming (and as recent as the 2011 season), if you were a season ticket holder, you could call the athlethics department and secure additional tickets for individual games. That was nice, because they would find you open seats near your season tickets. Now they tell you to use TicketMaster and pay the additional TicketMaster BS fees. LAZY, LAZY, LAZY!!!

Tickets may go down due to no FSU next year (hey were are the people saying level of opponents doesn't matter), but it is a lot easier for fans to pick up extra season tickets for friends if there is something new about the direction of the program. They have more time to do damage control until the renewal deadline.
