  1. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 125 seconds
  2. exactly what I kept saying all game. I wanted the Bucs McCoy to come out and call out the other team that plays in Raymond James (like he did with his own team the other day).
  3. i was possibly not going to renew...but i will now. no matter who they hire...i'll support the new regime. (For that matter, i supported Skip....went to every game...even last night's debacle...but a change had to be made.)
  4. Injuries now are a legitimate excuse. They weren't before...but on top of everything else that could go wrong, we're hurting at every position. No injury more so than BJ's injury. What's remarkable is that this is of course what USF would look like without BJ....like a garbage....without 70-80% of the offense in there...he ran the entire show, everything ran through him. (Going into the last 2 years, it's been said by everyone, "Everything is on the shoulders of BJ...the team goes as BJ goes." Why did our coaches keep pileing more stuff on him, when he was incapable of carrying what was given him before? Moot point now...so nevermind.) Coaching and general team mindset have been the greatest downfall this year though, no doubt. Coaching mistakes IN GAMES, and lack of coaching players to actually improve during practices have cost us numerous games. What's sad is that I can't just say that we lose because of bad coaching...we are also losing because our team just sucks. I really want them to be great and just have them being misguided by the coaching staff...but they're just not all that good either. Just as an example: For 2 year now, i've been talking up our wide receivers, how deep they are...how talented they are.... But that's it. they're talented...but not good receivers. They don't come back to help a QB under pressure, they don't fight for the ball in the air, they don't play defense to break up interceptions, they go down too easily. (BTW, I still put a lot of this on coaching or lack of it during the week.)
  5. I'm glad to see this conversation. My wife and I (and kids) have been season ticket holders for 6 years now...and we've got a section of friends that goes 15-20 seats now. (It started as 4 of us...and we've recruited more friends each year.) The tailgate starts at 4pm like clockwork....good grub, good drink, good cornhole, good "round table" conversations fantasizing about Big East Championships, BCS bowl games and being invited to the "big boy table" at least in Florida football. And the tailgating ends up being the best part...and obviously those fantasies have remained only fantasies. We will most likely renew our tickets...though it's financially stupid, as i can get after market tickets of my choice for much less. However, most of my friends will not be. The games just aren't as fun anymore. Sad. I'm still on the fence of what we'll do. This conversation is helpful to see what others are doing though. Either way...i'm a HUGE fan. Haven't missed a home game in 6 years, have watched all but a handful of away games, and been to all of the bowl games, other than the Toronto bowl. I'll be at the games one way or another...but i'll be counted as a turnstile number rather than a season ticket holder number (you know what i mean).
  6. i'm still in denial...how can someone who's been coaching for so long not know such simple things...like when to go for 2?
  7. this conversation has helped me decide that I, along with my wife and 2 kids will be using the money that we spend on season tix on a cruise. Season ticket holders since 2006. I haven't missed a game in 6 years...but we'll check out stubhub until this ship gets righted.
  8. No....Jesus is not one of our Defensive Backs. Keep Him out of this.
  9. How many times will skippy say that he's proud of how the team "competed" in the post-loss press conference? It makes my stomach churn to see he and floyd laughing on the sidelines after the ineptitude. And.....free play.....touchdown.
