Before Chris Cosh was announced, I was actually hoping we would offer Greg Hudson the defensive coordinator job. If we keep Skip Holtz but fire Cosh, we should select FSU's position coach, Greg Hudson.

I wish that was possible, but i feel it ultimately came down to money. Hudson (if I recall correctly) makes 500k, no way USF was coughing up that kind of money, thats why he was never even asked.

Hudson makes $335k. Cosh makes $325k with a 2 year guarantee.

Holtz makes $2M per year. not saying he should but if he felt top coordinators were important he could easily give up $300k and make $1.7M / year and use the that $300k for assistants pool.
