He's putting the blame on Cosh, which is a great spot... but... he should have also mentioned that things weren't that much better last year (he did mention the 1-11 record in the last 12). This is a head coaching issue and won't be corrected until Skip either brings in a huge personality DC, or, he completely changes his own mentality (or preferably, is pointed in the direction of the door).

I think a DC with a strong personality would stand up to him and say... "nope, you hired me because I run an aggressive defense, that's what I am going to run". That may just be enough to get things back on track. I still see a ton of play makers on that side of the ball.

I got to imagine it is hard for anyone on the defense to look anyone on the offense in the eye right now. We suck on all sides of the ball no doubt. But the defense has been especially awful!

They had an OK first half... bend but not break has always been a hallmark of USF defenses... we just lost the not break part in the second half.

The first half sucked as bad as the second but SYR didn't score because they kepy shooting themselves in the foot! They were running right down our throat! That was a pathetic display in the 2nd half. We have reached a new low for sure!
