I tetered between 7 - 8 wins. Potential losses would include UM, FSU, Louisville, and maybe Pitt or Cinci.

I think we get at least a bowl game this year. If a lower level, we should win it. If a higher level bowl, not sure....

Health of the team will be key for us this year, as we seem to lack some depth in key positions. The usual theme.

Think it will be 9. Wont be suprised if its 10 or 8 though.

Games I worry about are FSU, Rutgers.

The Iffy games to me are Nevada due to the travel, and Rutgers 5 days later, Temple( due to it being smack in the middle of the NEVADA, FSU, Rutgers stretch) Its also their home coming and first BE game in the conference. Cincy or Louisville could be a loss as well.

The only home games that wouldnt be bad losses are FSU obviously, and Rutgers; a) because it is Rutgers and they own us B) because it is a Thursday night game.

Hopefully we win at least the Rutgers game since it is a conference game. That puts us at 5-1.

Ball St and Temple should be wins. Unforgivable if not. 7-1.

Nevada, Cincy, and Miami are toss ups honestly. Losing to them would be disappointing. Ill say 2 of 3. 9-2.

Louisville looks tough on the road, I book this as a loss. 9-3. 6-1 in conference. 2nd place in the conference due to tiebreaker with the Cards. Should put us in the Pinstripe bowl iirc. We play another BCS team and win. 10-3 to finish the year ranked 16th.

I base this on absolutely nothing lol

Exactly what I'm thinking. I think we have trouble with RU because of the turnaround... FSU because they're FSU and UofL because they are at home. If we can beat either RU or UofL I think we could get the BE Championship. I don't see RU or UofL only losing 1 in conference.

UT-Chattanooga, Nevada, Ball State, Temple, Syracuse, and UConn are absolute must wins.

Rutgers, Louisville, Miami, Cincy, and Pitt are all toss-ups.

Florida State is an outlier.

6 Must wins + 5 tossups (2-3 Wins) = 8-9 wins not counting the bowl game. So including the bowl we should get 8-10 wins. I went with 8-9 and here's to hopeing we do better

We'll rock Rutgers, hopefully in front of a large crowd.

Beat fsu and will be favored the rest of the season.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
