Don't know if it's been posted, but he's now committed to FSU.

What is the story with this kid? I see that he committed to both FSU and Notre Dame?

Kid was a beast. We offered him. Another one off those kids who would have been better off staying home.

He left the team "for personal reasons."

We certainly have scholarships available.

Still time to get a hardship waiver, if that's in play.

Notre Dame Football 2012: OT Jordan Prestwood Leaves Program For 'Personal Reasons'

Aug 08 12:20p by Satchel Price

Read More: Jordan Prestwood (OT - Notre Dame), Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame Fighting Irish offensive tackle Jordan Prestwood has left the program for "personal reasons" recently, as Eric Hansen of the South Bend Tribune reports. The sophomore was expected to be a key back-up for the Irish during the upcoming season, but it appears that he's moving on to something else instead.

Prestwood was once ranked as the No. 130 prospect in the entire nation by ESPNU, but after initially committing with Notre Dame in 2010, he ultimately enrolled at Florida State in the spring of 2011. He then transferred to play for the Irish in an apparent change of heart, although the Plant City, Fla., native seems to be moving on once again.

As recently as Monday, ESPN's Matt Fortuna wrote that Prestwood was competing at left tackle in second-team drills during the team's fall camp in South Bend, but Brian Kelly will now have to find a new lineman to replace him at that spot.

I'm betting he'll be lined up across his former ND teammate when we play UCF next year. Unless he is done with football all together.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
