ET, you're one of my favorite posters, but on this subject I think you're missing the mark. If USF built a 45K seat OCSit would sell out every game and in my opinion that is better than averaging 55K

If they're doing a feasibility study I'm betting there is some strong donor interest already... As for a design we should take what FAU did and go bigger. FAU has club areas for those that require it

I think FAU's is pretty respectable. Is it the best stadium in the Sun Belt?

Is there a track around FIU's field?

Yes... FAU has a fantastic stadium now. wide concrete concourses... great club area... fully expandable.

The FIU pic he posted is a very only computer generated plan... it doesn't look anything like that. They took out the track when they rebuilt their stadium.

Here is what FIU's half finished stadium looks like in reality... if you look at the top of the stadium the visitor stands are actually still the old concrete stands... they ran out of money. It's completely metal like BHS in Orlando... I think they only had 8 suites? They built it because they had to... the experience there was horrible.

However the final stadium model comes out, they should do the sound engineering and have super steep inclines to channel in sound like Autzen stadium.

FIU's student body is quite larger than FAU's... I'm talking like two to three times bigger... That plus FIU opens up the Miami market (FAU is considered to be in the Ft. Lauderdale market). Also FIU's team has greater short term potential for success with Cristobal in place.... FAU is still in turmoil with a new HC and AD.
