I know we've been through this before, but we still have 5 weeks to kill.

Would you rather see East-West divisions or non-geographic? When it's all said and done the travel is almost a wash.

I would rather see non-geographic - National and American divisions or something like that. Put these every year cross-over game teams in different divisions:

Boise-SDSU

SMU-Houston

USF-UCF

Rutgers-UConn

UL-Cincy

Memphis-Temple

I just hope we end up in a division with most of the existing BE members.

I'm ok with either way as long as we don't get put into a "west" division. I like the idea of having annual, traditional cross-divisional rivalry games.

Just glad there will be 12 teams and a championship game. None of this 3 way tie for the BE crap anymore.

How about two divisions. "Sub" division made up of the crappier schools and the "Par" division made up of decent schools who could compete with the bigger conferences. Would look something like this.

Par

Boise

USF

Cinci

Rutgers

UL

Uconn

Sub

SDSU

Houston

UCF

Memphis

Temple

SMU

It'd be easy to do North-South if we didn't have Boise and SDSU.

I like the non-geographic option. But obviously keep a "rivalry" game going with schools (ie. USF/UCF, UL/Cin, Houstin/SMU, Rut/Temp). As much as I hate the fact that we play UCF again at least the games will be packed which makes for a fun experience.

I'm for any set up that avoids playing the assclowns on an every year basis ...

Yeah, but the guys in suits in Rhode Island are going to make sure it happens. It will be the most heated matchup in the new conference and they'll want to use that.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
