In my opinion this is a great choice. They are a decent team, and playing UCF will excite a lot of students. Tons of kids have friends, or family that attend UCF and if we are trying to begin even somewhat of a rivalry this is a decent step. The goal is to pack the house and have a great atmosphere and this will do it for sure. Yeah it's not UF, or Kentucky by any means, but this should be a solid opener.

Yeah, but. We also have the Burial Mound. This game worries me. I hope our boys know what's at stake and take it seriously. Same goes for the student body.

I've accepted that fact, begrudgingly .... but for the opening of the "new" Dome?? IMO, there's not a worse choice they could have made .... I'm still hoping ct is being funny.

Maybe it's a bad dream.

Will be a sellout- need to get Bulls fans in there and keep the gnats out. Don't want them bringing all 20k again.

Home and home ooc basketball series happen all the time I think we had one vs. UCF in 2010 even. I might be wrong though I don't remember.

Wow. I'll admit I was dead wrong on this, but this is a dumb move. This is not the blue chip type team you want to bring in to open your venue (ex, UCF opened their football stadium with Texas).

It's like having an Extreme Makeover done on your house and the first dinner guests you invite are Ernest T Bass and Larry, Darryl and Darryl (ask your dad who they are).

That said..... it will be packed and thankfully they scheduled it during the bye week of football (UCF is @ UTEP that day also)

Foot said they have a home football game that day ...

I don't think you see many home and home ooc series in the same year all the time ..... could be mistaken.

Yeah for some reason I thought we split with UCF in 2010 but I was wrong, we only played one game at their place.

Elton John, now UCF. Kind of a theme going on here. Maybe see if Ellen Degeneres can host her show from the dome for a week? Just kidding of course. I like EJ's music by the way.
