I agree with suing them. A contract is a contract. If they don't have a valid exit clause that they are utilizing, then they should pay the fee they agreed to. They caused even more harm by not ever playing a game in our conference. BE should also sue for the additional damage it caused to the league.

I agree, but can you prove what additional damages are and quantify/monetize them?

I don't think that would be too difficult. You can get a couple of television contract experts to testify as to potential loss of income. Then you add in any extra money you had to pay to get Temple in early. I'm sure you could add all sorts of attorneys fees.

I will be shocked if the BE gets the full $5 mil. They will settle for an unannounced amount.

So based on the fact that you think the BE will take less than $5mil, you are saying this demonstrates how crappy the Be has become? Shouldn't you actually await the resolution before deciding that?
