Jay Wright had some really good things to say about us in the CBS postgame show. He still seems to think Temple will win but he convinced everyone on the panel we were for real including Steve Smith, who couldn't believe we ran a slow down system with such a tremendously athletic bunch, but now completely understands and agreed it was a genius system.

Not related, but I worked with an MD here in Atlanta who was Steve's neighbor in the 90s. When Steve was playing and travelling, he would have delivery trucks leave packages when he was away at this MD's house because his wife was always home. Around Christmas one year, this doctor's wife is opening packages and finds this jar with green M&Ms and writing on it with a grease pencil. So she eats the M&M's and puts the jar in the dishwasher. She thought it was a Christmas gift to her husband from a drug rep. In the mean time, Steve Smith gets this phone call...from Michael Jordan....asking if he got his Christmas gift, a jar of green M&Ms (for Steve's college Michigan St.) with the signatures of all the Olympic Dream Team members that were teammates of Steve, that took Jordan a year of traveling around to get on the jar. So Steve goes to the MD's house, asks the doctor's wife if she saw that come for him, descibes it and she just turns white. She goes and gets the now empty, clean jar, and he looks at it...and says, that's OK, keep it, lol.
