It'll always be the Sun Dome, mush like the Forum will still be the Ice Palace.

Depends. Some names stand the test of time, some don't. For example, no one calls the Trop the Thunder Dome anymore. I myself refer to the TBT Forum as the Forum, I called it the Ice Palace for about a year after the change then made the switch. Give it 1-2 years and AAA Dome or AAA Arena will replace Sun Dome.

I agree. I haven't called the Forum the Ice Palace in quite some time. The Sun Dome moniker will carry over to an extent, but to the majority of people it will fade over time.

Yeah, it'll still be known as the Sun Dome to most, however it won't be branded with the word SUNDOME at all.

Same goes for the Ford Ampi......I mean 1-800-ASK-GARY Ampitheater.....

A sponsor isn't going to want Sun Dome in the title, cause then it'll get shortened to Sun Dome by everyone.

THen if it does end up being AAA, they better keep it as the Triple A Dome instead of Triple A Arena. Otherwise I'll being calling it the Quadruple A.

Losing the "Sun Dome" moniker wouldn't bother me in the least .... just another part of the cleansing process.

Don't know why they just don't release the full rendering like they promised to the fans when the project started. Just another USF athletics screw up again, what a shock.

But "AAA Bull Pen" does have a ring to it.
