According to a commentator below that blog post, Lunardi hasn't missed on more than two teams out of the entire field any year going back to 2008. Assuming that's correct - and who knows, I sure as hell ain't going back and counting - that's great news for USF.

Thinking about it further, only missing two teams in the bracket isn't THAT impressive, considering there's really fewer than 10 spots each year that aren't obvious. The 32 autobids plus about 25 or more obvious at-large teams are gimmes.

I like our chances as an 11 seed.

Based on TODAY (LOL) we would get UNLV and then potentially FSU. Now that would be fun. Bad news - It would be Kentucky after that and I don't know if could score 40 points on them.

We'd never make it to Kentucky so rest assured we wouldn't get embarrassed by them.

That's how big the SHU loss to DePaul was. We are now firmly ahead of them and they would likely need 2 wins and a USF loss to pass us.

That was really a bad loss at a bad time for SHU.

I could easily see us getting to KY. Do you really think UNLV and FSU are unbeatable ?
