Lunardi seemed to indicate that he thinks we're in even with another loss in a chat today on espn.com

He said MAYBE..

We just need to win the next game, though I think we can go beyond that. The way we're playing, I think we'd have a shot against ND and we're not the same team we were when we played Marquette.

I also think we have a chance to become a crowd darling in the BET. Not against Cuse where a lot of people go to NYC, but I think we'd have a lot rooting for us against ND and Marquette if we got to those rounds.

As a result, Texas slips out of the projected field.

After losing to Western Illinois, Oral Roberts is replaced by South Dakota State in the Summit League. Oral Roberts is a fringe bubble team at best (No. 78 overall on the S-curve).

He said MAYBE..

The point being that he felt we had more of a cushion than UConn or Seton Hall. One more loss would probably do those guys in.
