How is the $20M, minus $5m for BS buyout, distributed, if at all, amongst the current BE teams? What is the split b/w football and non football BE members? Just curious.

now don't you know the answer to that? All of the non-football schools are going to get state of the art arenas... Pizza Head is buying

2011: BSU # 6 WV # 17

2010: BSU # 7 WV NR

2009: BSU # 6 WV # 22

2008 BSU # 11 WV # 23

Nough said !

THIS!

I agree the best option to replace WVU is Boise St., but with Boise St. if they were in the Big East from 2008-2011, I am not sure they would have been ranked as high due to the Big East being a better competition league top to bottom then what they were facing.

Everyone was low on Big East at this time but there is/was a lot of parody between the schools at this time and week in/week out the competition was better than what Boise faced, imo.

Boise St. won a lot of games with Moore, and Peterson is a really good coach but if Boise St sees weekly competition can the depth keep up with the rest of Big East teams, especially if injuries. UL, Rutgers, and USF mainly.

Actually the reason that the B12 agreed to help out WVU has to do with their TV contract. Its for 10 teams, failure to keep 10 teams would have cost them $5 million per school. In the case of the ACC their contract will not go down if Pitt and Cuse wait until 2014. In the case of the ACC it will be an increase per school when they do join. Very different motivations.

We don't need them - most of the BE did that to us this year.

Heck of a deal of the BigEast. This will stop other leagues from stealing teams, unless they can pay $$$$$

I dont see ACC paying to get Pitt and 'Cuse out early, They aren't desperate like Big12, who needed to have 10 teams
