Coach Bull Dozer, I'm pretty sure that the first LSU team was Nick Satan's squad and that they ran a pro stylish set, but I get your point. I do think in this league with our players we have a better shot to get to the MNCG in a pro style set. We might get crushed when we get in there, but..........We have 1.5 WR (Griffin and everyone else), 2 good running backs, 2 TEs. Or maybe a wishbone ??? But the current Fitch spread isn't too bad. It's much better than the Canales playground spread. I'd like to see more use of the tight ends though. The biggest problem I see is that we have yet to assume an offensive identity. I would have used the first 4 games to pile up the stats for Daryl Scott and let the world know that we want to run the ball. Make him a threat the defenses fear. Then go over the top with play action. The passing game and big plays will open up.

Love it. Enjoyed that Bucs game last night because if that.
