Its nice to see some respect and a nice ranking, but I can care less about rankings. Pitt is Thursday, that's when this season begins.

One thing i worry about is our D, I don't see us getting it done this year... WVU will win the BEast this year.

While I don't think it is overly important to be ranked at this point, it is good to be ranked going into the Big East games. We really need to take care of business from here on out. If we do, everything else will take care of itself. And, I am not ready to hand the Big East title to West Virginia just yet.

It's a bit difficult to really understand if this is our current Massey "BCS" ranking. He lists our win over UTEP, ranks us #27 and predicts the outcome for our remaining games. He says we have a 46% chance of winning at Pitt and will lose 28-26.

Although, he has added the UTEP score, he might not yet have actually updated his ranking and predictions. The reason why I say that is because he shows WVU #16.

I think having some good WRs, an intimidating RB, dual threat QB, and a nice TE gives us a puncher's chance.  The thought did cross my mind last night that WVU could be carving us up at home if we are not careful.  The fans are going to be jacked up in that game though so it might aid some miscues in our favor.

Does it come down to keeping the turnover battle in our favor?

Its good to carry that badge with all the conf realignment crap still being talked about.

Find it funny how we were ranked in the AP poll before ever being ranked in the Coach's poll, but now we are ranked higher in the Coach's than we are in the AP.

FWIW, only ONE AP voter, Sam McKewon ranks ND (23rd). He ranked USF #14.

I voted him "GOOD". Use your discretion.
