Important win for the team.

Hopefully, this will give them some momentum to finish up the season strong and show recruits that we are improving and can be competitive in the Big East with THEIR help.

Two more games to go and you will know the success of the season.  Win one and it will end up being an "OK" season but win both and the potential for an improved season is huge and please don't tell me about the one win conference season last year- that was just an embarassment and shuold be wiped from our memories.

How come the Dark Side has not put any messages in this thread.  It is just too positive for me.  I expect the negativity when I come to read all the posts.  I expect a post from Beastie followed immediately by a post by Velcro.  Sometime I think it is uncanny how close together they post.

The win was expected... beating Tulane though... that won't be as easy. I'm not sure if I see us winning the game yet... after analyzing the numbers, I will be able to come back with a good response. If we had lost to USM... RMC might have been left in Mississippi. They are truly that bad with Jasper Johnson quitting. If he stays... I don't think we win the game personally... it was too close too call until the final minutes and T Leather would have had a formible presence opposing him.

Johnson goes from a possible 2nd team CUSA selection to bye-bye... USM is having problems like us...

But Sheriff do you remember that trip you took to Hattiesburg when we played them and they were awful not even making the tournament, if i remember correctly that was the year we went like 8-8 or 7-9 and could had won the national division. That dump was always hard for our teams to play and win in
