Brian Fischer from CBS Sports last night was tweeting that USF will never get an invite to the Big 12 and will never even be considered. Just kept telling anyone who mentioned USF as a Big 12 candidate "Its not going to happen.".

I don't know him, but now I don't like him...

I'll be succinct about this, you have more important things to be doing than lobbying for any university to get into any other conference. Specifically, this is in regards to your querying of USF President Judy Genshaft about erroneous news reports by such biased "reporters" (and I use the term loosely) as Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel.

If you're going to get involved in this, you ought to work on USF getting into a new conference as well since the Big East is on it's last legs and will likely not maintain BCS status in a few years. Then, you'll have 2 of the largest universities in the state without a BCS home.

Regardless, I would appreciate the government keeping it's nose out of business it does not belong in. I'm sure many of your constituents feel the same.

Regarding possible expansion of the Big 12 -- with or without Missouri -- Neinas said there was still no telling how many schools might be added. The presidents of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have said they are most comfortable if the league gets back to 12 members, while Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds advocated 10. Neinas said there was even some sentiment for staying at nine.

"There is no unanimity at all. There isn't even a plurality among the athletic directors as to what they would like to do," Neinas said.
