Same for the Braves in the NL if St. Louis can win the game against Houston.

Could have TWO epic collapses to close out the season. 

Never seen anything like this.  No team has ever not made the postseason when they've held a lead of eight games or better to start September. 

Rays just need to keep winning now and they will host a one-game playoff here at worst.  Wow.

I think the Rays have the advantage. 

If I were the Yanks I would much rather face the Red Sox in the playoffs over the Rays, but I can see them laying down these next 2 due to the hatred between the yanks and sox. 

they already said CC is shut down until the playoffs.

This game is madness. It was 7-0 and I said forget this crap, we're done. My dog started crying, so I took her out on about a 15 minute walk. When I get back we're only down by 1 and then a HR. We have the momentum right now, it's ours to win.

Down seven to zip and the Rays come back.  The O's close out the Sox.  The Braves also collapse and the Cardinals are in.  

No other sport gives you the daily roller coaster ride that baseball does.  What a September!
