Per ESPN as well:

espn_bigeast Andrea Adelson

USF into AP poll at No. 22, WVU into coaches poll at No. 24.

AA was wrong again when she said before the game that we wouldn't be ranked in the AP poll even if we won at Notre Dame.

AA's worse than a bad weatherman, and I'm not sure there are any good weathermen.

Nice surprise for the day, I admit I didn't think we'd be ranked either, but if we did, I thought no higher than 24.  Pollsters must think we came away with a big win against a good team (which I believe as well).

Very few teams in history have beaten a ranked ND team on opening day at their stadium. We should be given ample credit for doing that.

Nice to see 2 BE teams ranked. The BE as a conference needs this. WVU has a tough opponent in a few weeks with LSU coming to town. I hope they pull off the upset

Also the higher the better, but they need to beat the BCS teams. If WVU can somehow beat LSU, I think some people are going to think they are for real and that some of these teams in the BE are not a joke. USF will move up by the time they play Pitt. That is a huge game

I would love nothing more than USF and WV to be undefeated and highly ranked when we meet in December.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
