I'm pretty sure in Holtz and the Team's mind there are no other games besides 9/10/11 vs Ball St. ND is a distant memory for them. Skip has them focused.

I wish it were Saturday right now! I am very pumped about this year.

I'm sure we stopped thinking about ND and started thinking about Ball State on Sunday Morning. That being said I feel CSHz has this team ready! GO BULLS!

Ball State can play.  They will be in a similar situation coming to Tampa as we were going to South Bend... playing a (possibly) ranked opponent in front of a large crowd.  Our DL needs to be ready for their running game, which did a fine job against IU.

That said, I don't see us becoming complacent as we have done in previous years, which resulted in our infamous mid-season slide.  I'm anxious to see our running game become better established as our new OL gels as a unit.

I can't wait until Saturday!!

We play hard, we'll take care of this team easily.

They were at Home and fired up against a BCS neighbor. One that is not very good.

Indiana had pretty good numbers against them.

We are MUCH better than Indiana.

Hey y'all new here!

A comment on Ball State, they played at a neutral site not really "at home"...

Da' Bulls need to be prepared to deal with Ball State's short passing/"up the gut" style of offense. If that is addressed, then this game should be a good win for us.

Welcome Beatle!  Agree with what you say...and would say with our LBs, this favors us.  But also agree we can't be cocky about this game...Ball State is more than capable of taking us down if we revert to sloppy play...

Thx NCBull! Reviewing some footage of the Ball State-Indiana game, I'd say the bulls definitely have a height advantage, and are more conditioned then Ball State. Their true freshman RB Jashawn Edwards, will need to be contained...if he gets past our secondary, then he will be as good as gone.

Their defense is decent, but not great...so as long as we make our mark on offense, they will probably get to tired to keep up.

MODS: The Ball State link at the top of the page isn't working. Please replace it with the Ball State Board mentioned in this thread.

Why am I not seeing a message board list at the top of the page?

you may have clicked on the shrink/expand header toggle on the top right - looks like a diamond with a line through it
