Have a safe trip up and not that it needs to be said but sport a USF shirt, hat, etc.

On a flight inquiry note, who is flying out from Tampa on Friday morning? I know that I can't be the only one from this board on the following Southwest flight.

Flight Date         Flight Information

1836 Sep 2 Depart Tampa Bay (TPA) at 06:40 AM

Arrive in Chicago (Midway) (MDW) at 08:20 AM

Safe travels.  We fly out Friday early but from St. Pete to Grand Rapids.  Then driving down to SouthBend on game day.  I went to the bookstore this afternoon and picked up a USF lapel pin to wear the rest of the week at work.  There was another nice lady there who mentioned she was flying up soon.  The campus was a buzz.

I also picked up a new long sleeve USF shirt as it will be a little chilly their I'm told.

Thanks for the safe wishes y'all. Both me and the wife brought nothing but USF gear!

Only a true Floridian could think that a forecast high of 84 degrees would be a "little chilly".

LOL.  In Grand Rapids (where we're staying) its been getting down in teh 40's at night.  That's more along what I was thinking.  I thought they were calling for possible rain in South Bend?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
