i\'ve been in 125 for 4 years now, since i graduated. i brought the student section mentality with me: i\'m drunk, loud, profane, obnoxious and have been removed for confrontations with Thug U fans, and also had an entire section of Buttgers fans thrown out of 127 for being rude to our fans in our house (i walked into their section dolo, juiced off liquid courage, and they ended up getting escorted out by TSA to the applause of Bulls fans in surrounding sections haha great story)...

never once has anyone in my section ever confronted me, nor have they complained on me. matter of fact people are overwhelmingly positive.

don\'t let the old farts on this board scare u away from 125. it\'s the place to be and nobody in Green & Gold is going to confront u face to face. we\'ve run stiffs and tight-arses out of our section before... JOIN US!!

That was you who got the Jersey Shore thrown out?? That whole situation (no pun intended) was almost as entertaining as the game itself.

Btownbull2009 - sign me up.

Sorry everyone in my future section of choice who wants a quiet zen like game day!! I intent to instill fear in the hearts of visiting teams. It's called home field advantage! I have no intention of being a ****, but I intend to do my part to give our guys HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. It's college football and it's almost here!

If you can't see because the people in front of you are standing up, STAND UP!!! This is football. Not the opera. I can't stand people that complain about people standing.

Want a better view? Move your seats to higher ground.

Every other college stadium i go to, most people stand. I have the complainers at USF games.

Actually, this is a myth.  Most people over the age of 24 ONLY stand WHEN APPROPRIATE... standing for THREE HOURS is, well, stupid.  Standing and yelling when you're winning by two touchdowns over Bob's College is, well, stupid.

The only game where I've stood the entire game was the sold-out WVU game.  And then it was APPROPRIATE to do so.

I've been to quite a few road games for USF and all but the Canadian Bowl game. Everywhere I've been, the students -- and the unfortunate souls behind them -- stand. Everyone else sat the majority of the game.

that's why i'm glad i'm still in student section. I do understand some people "can't" understand for extended period of times but make your choice of seating reflect that. My parents would likely complain about people standing in front of them and they know I would tell them that is COLLEGE football and to either stand or move behind in section. I tore 3 ligaments in my ankle last year and had to be in crutches with boot entire time and would STAND for the ENTIRE football game. I had to stand with a boot the entire game in Gainesville and was VERY TOUGH with that heat as well.If it bothers someone that much then offer to switch seats.

Did you really HAVE to stand the entire time? That is... were the people in front of out so rude to an injured person they did not sit even for even part of the game?

I can tell you this, I was in Gainesville that HOT day... and I sat the entire time. My entire section SAT the ENTIRE game - when they were in their seats not off getting water or standing in the shade somewhere.

I wonder why they put seats in the stadium if people want to stand??

Or why people ask... "Where are your seats?"...

No one ever asks... "Where do you stand for the games?"  People ask "Where do you SIT for the games?"

It's a generational thing, IMO. Some younger people like me will stand and scream their asses off whether we're winning 80-3, or losing 31-0 (completely sober). The older you get, the more uncomfortable it is to stand for long periods of time. I understand that. But what pisses me off is when people yell to sit down when you're only standing up on a big 3rd down, or something like that. That happened before I moved into the student section and it angered me.
