Riz, I gotta think benches are coming for there, no?

I'm very surprised they may go this route and not just put seats in there.

Not sure why anyone is surprised.  The renderings in the past have always shown it.

Its individual seats in the center portion, and bleachers out to each side

Probably so, I just thought of that.   But Why would they put the railings up, before the benches.  I would think all seats then railings.

I seem to recall a tweet from Bill McGillis a few days ago saying that they still have some seats to install and the scoreboard. Not sure if that means individual seats or benches.

My only other criticism of the new stadium, is that I wish they had done something similar to the baseball stadium with an overhang over the stands for shade.  Those Sunday noon games are killer.

Some current crappy cell phone pics of The Muma (windows mostly installed), shots of soccer field from outside (all signs of construction crews gone) and a shot of the water tower (I think a pic may have already been posted but it's cool enought to post again):

Sorry for the grave digging here, but I just wanted to update y'all.

In case you didn't know they framed the baseball and softball videoboards back in May, and this past week they installed the USF logos on top which will be lit up.  They look very sharp.  I don't have a camera to snap some pics, but if someone else could swing by there it would be great.  Also, the Muma Center and the new Rec Center renovations are almost done and look amazing.

That's what this thread is for ...

Also, does anybody know what is up with the coaching/filming towers for the football practice fields? Last time I checked I still don't recall seeing them out there ...

Nice.  It was really cool seeing the softball one lit up the other night when walking home from class (the baseball one was still being installed).

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
