If you have a 12 team league, then you know what 8-9 of your games are going to be, and you only have to schedule 3-4 OOC teams. When you only have 8 teams, you only have 7 locks and have to find 5 more. There's slim pickings out there.

Come on ... most teams have their next year OOC schedule locked up (unless someone backs out at last minute like FIU) at this time of year - only thing that's left is determining conference schedule. That should be the easy part. We're set on our schedule and I haven't heard of any other BE teams that aren't.

The NFL schedule didn't stop the ACC with the Canes. I don't understand what can be so difficult unless it's because we are ESPN's whipping boy getting the last selection of the weekday games. But in Pitt's case, that is not true. Pitt has the ability to schedule a game on ANY date they want at Heinz Field, except for Sundays.
