Frankie is a dynamic returner of punts and kick-offs, and plays corner and WR. I've heard USF thought he was to small for corner, but this new staff spends to much time labeling. Frankie is extremely dynamic and could contribute to USF in a lot of ways ala T-Rex. Not as fast as T-Rex but he's shiftier with probably as good acceleration. Think about this, Frankie as a junior rushed for nearly 250 yards, he caught about 800 yards receiving, and scored 18 TD's 7 of which were kick returns and two were INT returns! His numbers slid as a senior because more weapons were available at Robinson to include Ruben developing more as a WR. Frankie still had nearly 500 yards receiving 100 yards rushing, and 12 TD's 3 of which were by returns (of course as you can imagine almost no one kicked to Frankie his senior year). We go to GA to grab a larger corner because that's supposedly our desire, but ignore a guy with lots of ability, with extreme versatility who's locked in with a lot of the local talent....I am not a fan of their handling of Frankie Williams, Ruben or lots of the local kids for that matter. At the time Robinson wasn't quite the talent mecca it has become again recently.

Rivals and ESPN have him 1 tick off of a 4-star rating as well. Just seems like coaches are looking for a specific body type for this offense/defense, but he is bigger or the same size as some of the guys we have out there now

I hope in future years we don't have to sweat it out until the 11th hour before securing a few guys at dire need positions like this.
