needs a sand pit to run sprints in (you wouldn't believe how fast running through the groves made me back in my HS football days)

Awesome... can't wait to see it when its done... I assume they will paint the fields regularly and have USF astro turf installed  ???

They'll have the yard stripes, but I wouldn't expect any logos.  The artificial surface is going to be in the middle of the practice track.

Not quite.  There's not even a plan for a practice track yet. It was something from the long term plan that has been thought about but not really moved forward.

The new football practice facility will have 3 full sized practice fields; 2 grass and 1 proturf.
