Syracuse looks strong this year. But Cinci doesn't have their starting quarterback playing either.

I can take the WVU loss on the road, but if we just make 2-3 plays against the Cuse, we win that one easily and the Pitt game could be the BE Championship.I hope our offense looks OK again on Wednesday night. We need to win out. Miami looks weak today as well.

I caveat that with a strong BCS game, if Syracuse blows up at the bowl I'll have to wonder - how much longer does Big East an AQ conference contractually? I've seen plenty of people criticize decisions Holtz has made, every coach experiences that. And in fact every coach makes bad decisions occasionally. But who was "calling for Skip Holtz's head" at any point this season?

What I was trying to say is if it's out of our (USF) control whether we win the Big East at this point, I would like Syracuse to come out on top.
