Unfortunately, I accidently posted this on the Road Trip Board, but hope that it will be moved as a new thread on the Main Board:

With that I, like I've said many times, wished BJ would pull out of his slump but was skeptical.  I was wrong and am glad BJ came through with a very, very substantial effort for the Bulls.  He found the wide open receivers, caught Bogan in stride on a beautiful play, and had a GREAT game as a QB.  Congrats.

I hope some fellow Bulls can acknowledge the following:

1.  Landi and Hornes are not a BAD receivers and are in fact very good receivers.  Love those misfit toys!!

2.  You must be able to pass and make completions (no interceptions as well) to win football games.  You can't just run it and hope to succeed.

Getting that Cincy monkey off our back is special.  I won't even go into our defensive scheme for this game and will instead enjoy a long awaited celebration with a win against Cincy (and in their house to boot).

Congrats Bulls on making Friday evening special!  BOO YAH!!

Well one would think the UConn, Rutgers and Louisville games should all be very winnable. The wildcard is the Pitt and Miami games.

Basically, I think most expected us to beat Cuse and lose to WVU and Cincy.....so basically we are now right where we expected to be.

VERY TRUE!!!

There we go...

right were we needed to be!!!

BRING ON SLUTGERS!!!

GO BULLS!!!

That game was needed very much. Not just the win, but the way the game was played. The offensive play calling and performance not only put us back on track, but for me, provided me some confidence in the coaching staff's ability to figure out how to work with the talent we have. We haven't really seen it yet from them. In addition, it showed an exciting, entertaining brand of football that fans may actually want to come out to see.

It was a great job by the coaching staff and a great job by the players.

Everyone still has a great deal to prove, but that was a great start.

Many have been saying the play calling is there, but the execution has not.

Today on offense, EXECUTION a PLENTY !!!!!!!!!

You can tell after some of those big plays that we are got are confident back. After that landi TD you could BJ's eyes light back up and he knew he could still compete.

I know I've been hard on BJ this whole season along with most everyone but tonight really surprised me. He made sooo many good decisions, that werent there last couple weeks.

Nice to see us score almost effortlessly.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
