I think he ends up at UCF. The UCF QB is really well known and liked by those Miami kids and he can throw a ball.

Miami (FL) Northwestern receiver Eli Rogers recently pulled back his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder talked about why he cooled on the Hurricanes.

“Basically I wasn’t too happy with how the season was going,†Rogers said. “I didn’t like how the play calling was going on because I feel like I might want to be in a spread system. I’m just not understanding a couple things that’s going on with them right now. Hopefully things change, they’re still in my top though.â€

While he says the Hurricanes are still in it for him, Rogers also has more schools he is looking at.

“Cincinnati, LSU, Oklahoma State, UCF and Louisville,†Rogers said.

If Teddy goes to LSU then yes that could very easily happen.

I think someone at ECPN has confused their S's and their C's.

UCF is on the kid too...but so is USF.  I think of that top 5 the only firm offers Eli has are USF, UL, and Cinci.  The other grouping is still considering.  For USF Eli is a big get.  We're desperate for a real slot receiver, and Eli fits the mold perfectly.

Rogers named UL his leader on Tuesday and him and Bridgewater scheduled an official visit later this month is the latest.

Strong is good. Hope they dont get those two, that would make it very tough. Bridgewater is very talented.

Strong is a good recruiter along with Clint Hurdle the D line coach a former Hurricane on the staff.  Apparently Hurdle is camped out down in South Florida.
