The UCF QB is really well known and liked by those Miami kids and he can throw a ball.Miami (FL) Northwestern receiver Eli Rogers recently pulled back his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder talked about why he cooled on the Hurricanes.“Basically I wasn’t too happy with how the season was going,†Rogers said. “I didn’t like how the play calling was going on because I feel like I might want to be in a spread system. I’m just not understanding a couple things that’s going on with them right now. Hopefully things change, they’re still in my top though.â€While he says the Hurricanes are still in it for him, Rogers also has more schools he is looking at.“Cincinnati, LSU, Oklahoma State, UCF and Louisville,†Rogers said. I think of that top 5 the only firm offers Eli has are USF, UL, and Cinci. The other grouping is still considering. For USF Eli is a big get. We're desperate for a real slot receiver, and Eli fits the mold perfectly.
