What constitutes a "real" 1a team?

The same stuff that makes up a "real" USF fan??

;)

Weihenstephaner makes my favorite Dunkel.

I'm a Warstiener Dunkel man myself

Me too, tastes great.

The cbssportline.com poll which has us ranked 60th. Although they have Rutgers, Cincy, UCONN and UCF ahead of us, they do give us the #2 strength of schedule. WKU is ranked dead last at #120, sure hope we don't overlook them and play flat.

I'm thinking the coaching staff goes back to basics with the passing game the next 2 weeks...a little like Stony, but focusing on the fundamentals.  I'm hoping they can get BJ to get some confidence with his receivers and their routes.

And no better then to have 2 lower teams to do it against.

I do hope you re correct. It'd be nice to see them work on the vertical passing game and attempt to stretch the field a bit. I know it'll be tough without the full stable of receivers, but guys like Lamar and Hopkins can flat out fly and that could open up the underneath routes for the bigger guys like Knowles and Landi, and also clear out the box to open more running lanes.

Watch that #2 SOS take a dive over the next 3 weeks.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
