Does it seem odd to anybody that Scott has not posted anything since the end of the Stony Brook game? Is this what Sheriff was talking about a few weeks ago?

I noticed one entry since the game about a Baseball commit from Jefferson but it was a Staff report....and the headline "Shooting the Bull" is gone....just says Bulls Report.

You obviously weren't a regular reader. He posted a "farewell" blog post about a week before the Stony Brook game. :)

Yeah, he said covering the Stony brook game was his last. Sheriff was right.

Looks like Scott got a great office too at UF with a window view of the O'Dome and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium!

Yeah I guess I missed that....I read his blog about once a week....

I read Greg everyday since he typically has more updates.

Since McMurphy only seemed to put out one or two articles a week....I stopped checking the Tribune consistently. Scott did a better job than Murph but I still only checked his blog once in a while....checked it after the game and saw it wasn't updated and again today I see nothing has changed.

Glad to see Media General is on it.  ;D

Tampa Tribune management has not gotten their act together and put someone else in his place.

This got me thinking....this means that the Sheriff's prediction and deleted post 2 weeks ago was accurate.

So mods.....serious question....not trying to stir the pot....what was so wrong with Sheriff's post?

He obviously had some inside information but then the whole thread was deleted.....why was that?

Was it that it was viewed as inflammatory because he was complaining about hiring Gator alums writing for USF?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
