Just as much as the USF FB program got good news with Lang committing, the basketball program yet again strikes out on HS talent. This one really hurts being that here's a guy with in your on city, plays a position you need to fill for 2012, and happens to be rated 8th best at his spot. I'm at a lost as why the basketball program can't recruit HS talent. That has to be the greatest mystery in the entire BE country. If you can't get a guy in your own city for a need position then where can you go? Sad thing was in the end Frazier wasn't looking all that seriously at USF. Wrong way to build. And Heath is supposed to be this great recruiter

Heath has a lot of factors working against him that are already well known on these boards. Last year, only the 3rd in the Heath experiment, we saw some improvement. If he can continue to build on that, we may not miss out on so many local high school kids in the future. Playing for USF just doesn't have the same "bling-bling factor" as playing for UF, at the moment.
