I believe it is related to the previous offense. He's been in camp and away from any motor vehicle, unless he was driving a golf cart .

Twiggs St. on Tuesday evening -- it's possible he was turning himself in. According to the Sheriff's Office website, he was held on two misdemeanor counts of driving with a suspended/revoked license, one of them matching an arrest last month after he was pulled over in Tampa. He was arrested at 5:25 p.m. and booked into county jail at 8:25 p.m., with a judge revoking bond, according to the site.Barrington's only infractions have been traffic issues, but he's had enough of them to cause larger issues -- his traffic stop last month was his sixth in 13 months, with most resolved with payment of fines. Barrington was not expected to face any game suspension as a result of his arrest in July, but this specifically takes him away from the team at a time in which the Bulls are trying to avoid distractions. Barrington, expected to be the Bulls' starting middle linebacker if healthy, has been limited in practice due to a lingering shoulder injury.Posted by Greg Auman at 11:22:40 pm on August 17, 2010 in Football http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/lb-barrington-back-jail-held-without-bond

Sounds like he had a court date and showed up. What happened after that is unknown.

I'm starting to think that Barrington's shoulder might keep him out for the season. He could still use his redshirt. In a totally unrelated matter , I think he's going to miss time away from the team and school resolving these traffic related court issues. Certainly too early to say for sure, but this is already looking like it might be a lost year for Barrington. That said, if he gets mixed up in a legal matter, traffic issues are the result of immaturity. That is far better than being in jail for theft or some kind of assault.
