We go 5 - 7 or 6 - 6 this year.

I don't see how much of a realist you're being on the record, or Coach Holtz's tenure as USF's head coach.

I would say 6 - 6 or 7 - 5 on the regular season, plus a bowl game would be my guess.

As for Holtz, I think he is here for a long while.  I would expect us to get better in successive seasons, with us being in the top of the conference in 2 - 3 years.  He will get what he wants, and we will improve, and he will not go anywhere. 

Plus with him there, when BCS realignment happens he (and his dad) will help us position USF to be part of the new BCS whatever that is.  He will have no reason to go anywhere.

We're going 7-5 and end up 8-5 after rofl-stomping some ****** CUSA team in the St. Pete Bowl.

Other likely outcomes.

Shear luck: 8-4 with more of a toss-up bowl game

Realism: 7-6 Still ROFL-stomped some ****** CUSA team

I just dont want to think we could do worse.

As young as we are and as tough as our schedule is...a 7-5 season maybe 8-4 is realistic and still a good season.  Could 10 wins (even with the bowl game) happen...sure, but lets not expect it.

I just hope when the season starts and if we struggle that people on here don't start flying off the hinges and demand we start firing and releasing everyone.

All the other teams in Tampa have gone through some rebuilding years...let Holtz and this team develop
