Not entirely relevant since a good portion transferred to USF before we started football, and/or when we were 1-AA and an easy alternative.  Since our move to 1-A we've had a modest smattering no different from any other 1-A school.

Before preaching you might want to take a look at what Skip's doing.  You better be careful when your opinions could contradict your stance on Skip.  I for one would welcome it, but there is a possibility he could be accepting as many as 7 transfers if Bowens, Scott, Aycock, Gidrey, Boyd, Stanley, and Knowles.

Don't listen to him he contradicts himself everyday on this site.  In Skip Holtz I trust.

What is left unstated in this thread that modestly relates to smazza's usual four word contribution is the number of D-1 transfers that have been told no by CJL and probably Skip now too.  For every transfer accepted and that actually hits the field, I would guess that there are at least 3-4 that are turned down by the coaches.

Yep.

BTW, Grant Gregory also transferred down when his dad became an assistant. Grant transferred OUT to KSU in his 6th year of eligibility and eventually became their starting QB. I don't recall any other USF player who left to go to a team in another BCS conference. We've had plenty leave and go to 1-AA teams.

Yep, I see your list now. I should have gone back to the previous page to check before I posted.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
