Nice! He'll probably get a scholarship next year easily if he performs well

Dontae Aycock:  ATH

Scouts Grade:    80

Hometown:   Tampa, FL

High School:   Chamberlain High School

Position rank:   ATH # 28

Height:           5'11"

Weight:           210 lbs.

Evaluation:

Aycock is a great athlete and an intriguing prospect. Played quarterback in most of the game game films we viewed but will probably get recruited more as a running back or simply and athlete. He is well-built and has good body structure for a college RB. Looks a bit taller...

Is he going to have to sit out this coming year? What position do you see him at? RB, WR, even QB?

He has to sit out as a transfer who has not graduated.  Recruted as and wants to play RB.

The article said Leavitt wanted him as an LB so that could also be a possiblity if he doesn't win the job. You have to like getting a former 4 star recruit to come as a walk on but obviously he wants to be close to home.

I sure home we can shore up and get some serious production out of our RB's. Short of Ford in one half at the International Bowl....it seems like forever ago since we have had a decent running game aside from our QB (i.e. Andre Hall)

One last question will he be able to workout, go to meeting, practice on the scout team while he sits out?

RB is a wide open position.
