"pushed her in the chest and hit her in the face several times with an open hand"

Who said Leavitt couldn't coach this kid?

I'm surprised no one has said this is USF's fault yet.  If we would just have started him he wouldn't have smoked so much, wouldn't have got kicked off the team, and wouldn't be slapping women around.  Shame on us.

I believe the post before yours did imply it was USF's fault (albeit jokingly).

Very sad.  I truly hoped getting kicked off the team had shook his cage enough to get him back on track.  Best of luck to a former Bull, hope he gets his head (and life) straight.

It is probably worth pointing out that we have only heard one-side of this incident.  I think it is probably worth not jumping to any conclusions, especially since we are talking about a misdemeanor battery charge.

Wonder if he's been studying at the Brian Fisher school of Baby Mamma Drama?

I hope he can turn his life around, he is still a good kid that obviously has made some poor choices.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
