No. 2: Scrape together the best teams from Conference USA and the Sun Belt to keep the Big East together.

That is one of the most stupid scenarios I have seen.  If the Big Ten takes more than one B.E. school there is no doubt where the replacement teams would come from, Conf. USA.  It is with sure certainty UCF would join the rest of the B.E. and Memphis has always wanted in.  The BIG QUESTION should be what to call the NEW conference.  The football side of the B.E. can not live being tied to the B.B. side and needs to break away, WITHOUT PENALTY.  The S.E.C.'s Slive stated they may go to 16 teams if the Big Ten does, so what schools would they take?  There is a possibility there will not be enough B.E. teams left fo form a league and DO NOT count on the A.C.C. to expand, as their commissioner has stated over and over they are NOT going to expand.
