Not sure if anyone else has seen it or posted about it on here, but last night I saw a commercial announcing the switch from the name ESPN360.com to ESPN3.com. Featured prominantly at the end of the commercial were our USF Bulls from this seasons game against UCONN. It was a third down play with BJD taking the snap from the shotgun and a few receivers lined up wide. The switch becomes official on April 4th I believe, so there should be quite a few airings of the commercial in the meantime. Nothing Earth-shattering, but still pretty cool.

Yea I saw it too. I've been looking all over to see if I can find the video online to post it on here but so far no success.

Still prefer catching all the games featured in Obscure Sports Quarterly on The Ocho.

I don't know why they used the name "ESPN3."  What happens when they decide to make the next ESPN cable network.  Actually, the next one will probably be "ESPN3D."

Actually I read this article a month or so ago but didn't know if they officially announced a name for the network.

The USF-Kansas game was the first college football game filmed in 3D.

USF-Kansas may have been the first college football game filmed in 3D, I still don't get why the USF-UCONN game is featured in this commercial though.  All the other clips during the commercial feature the number 3; for example, it is the jersey number of the soccer player in the ad.  However, nothing about the number 3 is prominent during the USF portion of the clip.

Am I missing something?  ???

Thanks.
