Ok. They set up the Big East so that they can't have all 8 teams of the Elite Eight.

Well, it looks like they found a way to cram them in under the wire.  I guess they had room for a ninth if one was deserving.

Nova, ND and the Ville all going to the South is a good omen for 9 teams next year though - they've finally broken their own rule about not having conf teams meet until the Elite 8.
