UCF, Marshall,San Diego State, just to name a few are all ahead of USF. That is a drop of 12 just since yesterday. Wonder what people's thoughts are on this!We are dropping by the minute on Rivals. The rankings doesnt take into account those that wont academically qualify

The guys at one of the pay sites( I won't mention a name) said the other day that it was only natural that"players who were recruited for teams that had a larger pay subscriber base would naturally get higher rankings". I swear to God, that is what was said. It's like because USF fans have a great free site and don't enroll as many subscribers as say FL, for instance, that our recruits wouldn't get the same number of stars. This was the explanation given when someone asked why a players ranking dropped when he went from FSU to USF.
SaltyBulls Posted February 4, 2010 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 178 Reputation: 19 Days Won: 0 Joined: 01/09/2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Some information I got from Scouts for another thread...Teams ranked in the top 30 with under 20 signings include:#7 USC - 19 players 6 5star players and 10 4star players#20 Ohio State - 18 players 1 5star player and 9 4star players#21 Georgia - 18 players 1 5star and 9 4star players#29 California - 2 5star players and 4 4star playersThe difference between USF and these teams - history and been there done that.....The positions we focused on are not valued as highly in stars. These were the positions we needed. There were only 36 4&5 star OTs in the class. Also, thre was only 13 4&5 star OGs in the class. The focus on Oline is what drove our rankings down. There is a lot more to be considered than your recruiting ranking!
