Terrance Mitchell (TREX) Decommit from FSU?

The fact the FSU already had four DB's on their commit list might have played into the equation:

Lamarcus Joyner - 5*

Mike Harris - 4*

Terrence Brooks - 3*

Chad Abrams - 3*

We might STILL get Brooks. LOL

Brooks recently took an official visit to USF. Some newspaper reports this week speculated that he might switch to USF, but that was before Mitchell made the move.

This is awesome news. Look at his offers... Florida, FSU, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina, Tennessee. Seems like this guy could have gone anywhere in the country. Probably the most highly touted recruit USF has landed after Giddens? Seems that way to me, but I didn't really start following recruiting till about three years ago.

Someone wrote that we could end up with a surprise committ. I wonder if this was it. Or will we get more surprises.

It still only  moved us up to 53rd in the ranking of our recruiting class (according to the infallible rivals.com)

I don't put much stock into where they may think our class ranks. It's up to the coachs to develop the players to play at this level. We have a coach in here now who has proven he can do that.

According to Greg's blog, this could help us with Todd Chandler. The two apparently went to middle school together as well. Also from Greg, I didnt realize Terrence and Lindsey Lamar were best friends. Thanks Lindsey!
