Does anyone know why he only played in two games this year?

It seems like those 8 carries weren't worth burning up a year of eligibility.

I can't remember if he used a year of eligibility when he committed to Alabama...If that's the case, would he be eligible for a medical red shirt for this past season?

Actually, I'm pretty sure he got a hardship because I think he went to Alabama early...

He got a hardship waiver to come to USF.  His knee swelled up and apparently he wasn'y as 100% healthy as he thought he was, so it was basically a tough luck year for him, but it appears he just wants to get his degree and move on even if he had the shot to redshirt this year.

Injury killed his 2009 season.

Hope he comes back 100%.

his season was wasted by incompetent coaching...

we didn't need to burn his medical RS on 8 carries.

I've said this before, but everyone would rather blame the coaches. Maybe hatter has inside info, but from my perspective, the kid went to Bama early, so he is 1 semester ahead of regular juniors. He has a kid, and thus responsibilities. He likely would not have stayed past this season anyway (assuming he graduates by next spring), so why not play him?

It may have even been his choice.

He was talking about entering the NFL draft after this season if he had a good season, he's not a Mo Plancher type that wants to stay at USF for 8 years, he has to get on with life, whether it is through football, or a career where he can make money and support his family.

I think that he was one of are best potential running backs ever.  He was unfortunate with the injury and the coaching challenges.  I really hope he returns next year and that our coaches see he is da bomb.  I loved how he ran against FIU but then they took him out after he was killing them.

He was injured preseason.

He worked his way back.

He played ... because we needed help at RB.

He was re-injured. Couldn't RS.

Maybe our new staff can see into teh future.

he has battled through injury, like Mike Ford, seemingly his entire career at USF. Would be nice to see the season where both he and Mike are healthy and get the carries to finally show off their abilities. Maybe this season??
