Does anyone know how many recruits we have coming in this weekend and who is coming?

The Times Ed Encina interviewed CJ Bennett and he said he is taking one this weekend.

Anyone else?

USF does not release an official visitor list.

Scout has one, but it's apparently incomplete since it doesn't yet show Bennett:

Ricardo Allen is a new name to me.  He has some big name offers.

It's hard to believe no high school LB's have come to visit.

We had one scheduled for this weekend, but he just changed his mind and is visiting TT instead.

We signed a bunch of LB's in our last class and our LB coach just got fired, so those things probably scared some prospects away.

CB 32 Ricardo Allen

(Mainland HS)

Daytona Beach, FL 5-9/176/4.60 None Yes 1/22/2010 South Florida

DE 46 J.C. Copeland

(Troup County HS)

LaGrange, GA 6-1/245/4.60 None No 1/22/2010 South Florida

It says these guys have "none" for interest in USF...do they just come here bc they have to make X number of visits?

Maybe Skip can convince them otherwise

I hope the CB was running that 40 uphill against the wind with scuba flippers on  ;)

Well, they are both verbals to other schools at the moment and Scout, for whatever reason, does not list them as being "soft" verbals. Apparently, they must have "some" interest or they wouldn't be visiting and wasting their time. Hopefully, we can get one or both to change their minds and commit to USF.

LOL

I saw that, but he had some quality offers.

Rivals lists him as being much faster with a time of 4.48

It will be interesting to see who visits NEXT week.

After this week, FBCSH should have a better handle on exactly what is still needed to complete this class. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a couple of current ECU verbals by signing day.
