What is wrong with a coach leaving this or any program for another. Except for the case of Lane Kiffin it usually means the coach was highly successful.

I am cool with a Kelly or Urban type "move up".

hm101,

Less that JL would have made. Difference goes into assistant coaches pool.

I don't know much $$$. But, I would pay extra to have a Coach who has the self awareness and control not do the following:

1. Pregame sideline wind sprints on national TV.

2. Head butt helmeted players and look like a bloodied boxer.

3. Act like a nervous Nelly before the game.

4. Talk like he has never spoken to the media before.

That's not too much to ask for a Big East Coach, is it?

i would think that the assistant pool would be more than a 100K increase.

I hope it has a performance clause, I am looking at some of the posts of why ND fans didn't want him when Charlie got canned and it ain't pretty. An average recruiting class in the high 70s and winning percentage of 59 was eye opening.

he was recruiting kids to come to ECU to play in C-USA.  that is a big difference.

plus, we won 2 conf titles in the last 2 years.

hopefully the BCS tag and being in Tampa will help and we get classes in the top 30.

then onto the top 15.

+1

Leave it to Notre Dame fans to ***** about winning percentages. The last few years have been great.......

Not to mention how terrible the program was when he took over. 3-19 the 2 prior seasons
